Zamfara banditry kingpin, Alhaji Auta bombed to death

Alhaji Auta, a notorious bandit operating in Birnin Magaji area of Zamfara State has been killed in an air strike by the Nigerian Air Force.

Daily Trust reported that many of his gang members were also killed during the operation around his camp located at Jama’are Bayan Dutchi, in Nasarawa Mailayi District of Zamfara on Saturday January 1, 2022. 

Auta is said to be one of the four kidnap kingpins terrorising the area.
