We gave our 100% and unfortunately that wasn’t good enough to take us through – Ahmed Musa writes after Super Eagles crashed out of AFCON

Footballer, Ahmed Musa, has reacted to the elimination of the Super Eagles from the AFCON 2021.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Musa pointed out that he and his teammates gave their 100% but it wasn’t good enough.

The Nigerian footballers crashed out of the football tournament last Sunday January23, after losing 1-0 to Tunisia.

Musa’s post reads;

”In life, things wouldn’t always go the way we want them to and that’s something we have to accept however hard it is. We gave our 100% and unfortunately that wasn’t good enough to take us through.

We won’t give up, we will do better next time. Thanks for all your support and prayers. You make it all worthwhile.”
