Fire fighters in Lagos state are currently battling to quench the fire that broke out in the popular Balogun market in the state today November 5th. Jubril Gawat, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Lagos State Governor on New Media, gave an update on the rescue operation at the scene of the incident.
Gawat said no life was lost in the incident and that the men of the fire service are working to stop the fire. He said the building where the fire started eventually collapsed partially with a loud bang.
