A woman paying $200k to a man monthly makes me sad – Toke Makinwa reacts as Judge orders Kelly Clarkson to pay ex-husband almost $200k monthly as spousal and child support

Toke Makinwa has reacted to a court judgement which directed singer and show host, Kelly Clarkson to pay ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock almost $200k monthly as spousal and child support. 

The media personality who admitted saying “God forbid” in reaction to the court judgement was wrong, said that though she is a feminist, a woman paying $200k to a man monthly makes her sad. 

Also acknowledging that music producer, Dr Dre’s ex-wife Nicole got a similar judgement in her favour, she stated that women don’t win all the time. 

Comparing the judgement obtained in American courts to that obtained in divorce cases in Nigeria, Toke noted that women in the West African country are at the mercy of their husbands who also decide what to give them. 

Toke Makinwa who also made a clarification, said she is sad with the judgement because men still earn more than women in work place.
