Ex-American football star, Justin Crawford gets 12 years jail sentence for child sex after being caught pants down by his wife

Justin Crawford, a former West Virginia running back has been handed a 12 year jail sentence followed by 8 years of probation after being found guilty of charges of child molestation and sodomy in his hometown of Columbus, Georgia.

The football player was arrested by Columbus police last October on charges of incest, sodomy and enticing a child for indecent purposes after his wife, Chakeya walked into her living room about 5 a.m on October 13 to find her husband with an erection as he stood over the child.

He however denied sleeping with the 12-year-old girl at that time, but got busted after the girl told his wife that she was sleeping in the living room when Crawford came in and had her perform oral sex on him before they had intercourse. Other charges against him was reportedly dropped after he admitted to having oral sex and intercourse with the underage girl, but he claimed it was her idea.

Crawford played for West Virginia from 2016-17 after transferring from Northwest Mississippi Community College. He rushed for 2,237 yards and 11 touchdowns in his two seasons with the Mountaineers. Despite only having two years in the program, his rushing total ranks 11th in West Virginia history. His 331-yard game against Oklahoma in 2016 is the third-best rushing performance in WVU history.

The football player signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent, but was cut just days before the start of the 2018 regular season.
