Heartbreaking photos show wife speaking to her husband of 60-years through the window while he’s quarantined for coronavirus

An elderly American woman has pictured desperately trying to communicate through the window with her husband of 60-years while he’s quarantined for coronavirus.

In the photos shared online, 88-year-old Dorothy Campbell is pictured looking through the glass at her husband, Gene Campbell, as he sits in isolation at a Washington state nursing home where at least five people have died from coronavirus.

In one photo, the couple’s son Charlie Campbell was seen taking his mom up to the glass outside so she can communicate with her husband during their visit on Thursday. 

The death toll in the U.S. from the coronavirus outbreak rose to 14 on Friday, with more than 225 cases confirmed across the country.
