Hospital in Sapele seize remains of a little boy who died after being bitten by snake in school over outstanding payment

A young boy identified as Best died last Sunday in Obule Medical Center Sapele, Delta State, after he was reportedly bitten by a snake in school but didn’t mention it to his parents.

Acoording to Facebook user, Sam Ivan Ohwo, the hospital management has kept the remains of the child hostage because of an outstanding 80,000 payment. Read below…

With sadness in our heart we regret to inform everyone who took his or her time to read about the little boy called BEST story earlier posted on Facebook, that needed financial assistance on medical treatment of a snake bite.

That the boy “BEST” died this Sunday morning 27th May 2018 about 2am at same hospital OBULE MEDICAL CENTER SAPELE Delta state.
As his condition got worst because of the break in the treatment within the past days
Only a total of #6500 was donated as at this morning from kind hearted Nigerians who responded to the post published earlier.

As at filing this report the remains of Best is still in hospital as bills needed to be paid before taking the dead body
Kind hearted Nigerians can help the family with donations to help pay up the bills of about #80,000 outstanding so that the boy can be buried
