‘How is six pieces of potato $10?’ – Canadians lament the high cost of living in Canada

Canadians have taken to social media to lament about the sudden increase of items and high cost of living in Canada. 

In videos that have now gobe viral online, Canadian men and women claimed the spike in the cost of living is due to the influx of immigrant in the country.

In one of the videos, a Canadian woman is seen weeping as she lamented that she works too hard yet her salary cannot give her a decent living. 

Another woman complained about the cost of food items.

‘’How is it that six pieces of potatoes cost $10?” she asked
