La La Anthony is reportedly exploring her legal options as she makes a decision regarding the next step to take in her marriage to NBA player, Carmelo Anthony.
According to People, the actress’ reps said La La and Carmelo have been living apart for a while and La La is taking further steps legally.
This comes after Carmelo was caught on a yacht in France with a mystery woman who Carmelo claimed was married and her husband was on the yacht with them, only for it to later emerge that he was lying.
This happened last week and the fact that it was on La La’s birthday made it all the more sensational as people questioned why he had to be with another woman on his wife’s birthday of all days.
A representative for the author reacted in a statement to the online publication: “As La La and Carmelo have been living apart for quite some time, La La is proceeding with legal discussions as the next step in their relationship.
“They will remain loving and committed parents to their son.”
La La and Carmelo got married in 2010, more than three years after their son, Kiyan, was born. In April 2017, La La filed for separation after Carmelo was accused of impregnating a then-24-year-old woman. They reunited in late 2018 but they are now “separated” again.
La La has not filed for divorce but the move is not out of the question in the future. A source close to the Power actress said she’s doing great in spite of all that’s happened.
