Lol. Man calls out General Hospital for charging a woman N51,000 bill after “one hour labour and successful self delivery”

One Owoblow Abd has called out management of the Ikorodu General Hospital, Lagos over the ‘tragic’ high cost of delivery. 

According to him, the hospital charged his friend’s wife N51,000 after one hour labour and successful vaginal delivery. 

“Tragedy at Ikorodu General Hospital, a visit to my friend wife that just put to bed today, see bill of less than hour Successful self delivery. I beg how much is private Hospital around Ikorodu, or Iya Alagbo.” he wrote on Monday, November 23.

However, most people disagreed with him, saying that the amount is reasonable. One Abiola Oluwaseyi Mathew said; 

“What point are you trying to make here? 45K you are making noise. I expect you to be thanking God for safe delivery of the baby. You are complaining of just 45k. it is well o”

Atinse Elizabeth said that the bill is reasonable. “No private hospital will give such a low bill for normal delivery. Go and do your fact findings. If you choose Iya alagbo. Yes to an extent but when complication arises, be ready for fiery outcome.
