Married Police boss caught arranging hotel meet up with a junior female officer who is also married
A married deputy chief constable in Surrey, UK, known as Nev Kemp, was caught arranging to meet his junior female officer who is also married in a hotel room, according to a report by the Sun UK.
According to the report, the planned meet up conversation was picked up on a doorbell camera.
Nev Kemp, 48 – a deputy chief constable at Surrey Police (pictured top left) – was organising a hotel meet-up with Sergeant Rachael Johnson, 38, (pictured top right with her husband who is also a policeman)
Their phone conversation was picked up by a doorbell camera and her husband Ross Johnson – a fellow police sergeant was able to hear it.
Mrs Johnson, reportedly opened up about her relationship with Mr Kemp when her husband Mr Johnson confronted her about it.
Mr Johnson then reported her to the police force authorities who could sack Kemp
Kemp started working with Surrey Police in 2017 and later took over from former-deputy chief constable Jeremy Burton who stepped down in February over allegations that he had an ‘inappropriate relationship’ with a colleague.
A source told The Sun: ‘Rachael and the deputy chief constable worked closely together.
‘One thing has seemingly led to another.’
As at press time, none of the parties involved in the scandal has publicly responded to the report.
