Moment woman walked down street with mother’s head in carrier bag after hacking it off (video)

A video has been released showing the moment a psychotic woman, 36, was seen walking down the street with her 73-year-old mother’s head in a bag after decapitating her with knife and scissors.

Odessa Tammy Carey has been charged with murder after she beat her mother, also called Odessa Carey, to death at her home in Ashington, Northumberland, before using a knife and scissors to cut off her head. She then removed her mother’s brain and cut a cross shape into her abdomen (read here).

A video of Odessa Carey carrying the severed head of her mother around in a carrier bag has now been released.

She later brought the head out of the bag and kissed it in front of a family friend.

The daughter was arrested after police found her hiding in the loft of a different house in Guide Post. Her mother’s head was found under a sink by a police officer.
