Mother, grandmother and grandfather are arrested for ‘locking children in wooden cages’
A mum, grandmother and grandfather from Alabama, US, have all been arrested by police for allegedly locking children in cages as Investigators look into reports of possible abuse that went on in the home.
Pamela Deloris Bond, 66; James H. Bond, 69, and Kylla Michelle Mann, 30, were arrested by a team of policemen led by Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones.
The County sheriff’s office posted a photo of a wooden crib-shaped cage with a mattress and blanket inside which they believe children lived in.
While at the home, police noticed another wooden cage with locks, and said they greatly believed that the children had been locked in the cage multiple times.
The three suspects have been charged with two counts of aggravated abuse of a child less than 6 years of age and two counts of reckless endangerment.
While Pamela Bond is charged with one count of tampering with physical evidence.
All five children picked up from the house have been placed in state Department of Human Resources custody.
