Photo of church accountant sent to jail for allegedly stealing N15.5m tithes and offerings

Here is a photo of the accountant of the Church of Brethren in Nigeria, Ibrahim Aku, who was sentenced to 18 years imprisonment earlier today for defrauding the church of N15.5 million (money gotten from offerings, donations and tithes) between 2016 and 2018.

He was arraigned before Justice Nathan Musa of the Adamawa State High Court and he pleaded guilty to charges of forgery and obtaining money by false pretense
