Photos: Kidnapper arrested in Yobe State while collecting ransom even after the 5-year-old victim died in his captivity

Police in Yobe has arrested one Tasiu Abdulkareem, in connection with the kidnapping of a five-year-old boy who later died in his captivity in Potiskum.

Parading Abdulkareem alongside other suspects, spokesman for Yobe State Police Command, ASP Abdulmalik Abdulhafiz said he demanded N8m from the boy’s family but was bargained to N50,000.

He was arrested by the police at the point of picking the ransom.
