#RevolutionNow: DSS seeks court order to detain Omoyele Sowore for 90 days
The Department of State Services (DSS) in an ex-parte application marked FHC/ABJ/CS/ 915/19 and filed by its lawyer G. O. Agbadua on Tuesday August 6, sought for a court order to detain the convener of #RevolutionNow Omoyele Sowore for 90 days pending the conclusion of its investigation.
The application order was filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja, The Nation reported. However Justice Taiwo Taiwo adjourned the ruling till Thursday August 8, to enable him study the exhibits which include two copies of digital video disks (DVD) filed with the application.
Recall that the former Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) was arrested at his Ikeja home on Saturday August 3, by the Department of State Services who accused him of being in contact with “foreign factors to destabilize Nigeria”.
