Speed Darlington talks about rape and what it does to the victims (video)

Speed Darlington has lent his voice to the rape menace, which has ravaged the country in the last few days. 

According to the US based singer, many Nigerian women are rape victims who go on for the rest of their life without opening up to anyone because sometimes the perpetrator is in their family. He further said that rape is a big deal in Nigeria, as many boys who are also raped are afraid of being laughed at when they speak up. 

Speed Darlington who described rape as being robbed of one’s dignity and body against his or her will, wondered why rapists feel they are special as he also sees women he likes and can also overpower, but he doesn’t rape them.
