Twitter users uncover video of Dwyane Wade’s male nanny as they insinuate he’s the reason Zion Wade now identifies as a girl
Twitter users have uncovered an old video of a man who they claim was Dwyane Wade’s sons’ nanny when they were little and they are insinuating that he’s the reason why Zion Wade now identifies as a girl.
Years ago, when their sons were still little, Wade and his first wife, Siohvaughn Funches divorced and Dwyane got full custody of the kids.
However, he was a star NBA player who was often on the road and didn’t have the time to be with his kids regularly.
Rather than call their mother to care for them, he reportedly hired a male nanny to watch his two young sons 24 hours-a-day.
Recently, Wade revealed that his youngest son with Siohvaughn Funches, Zion Wade, now identifies as a girl and wants to be known as “Zaya”. His revelation led to so many people sharing their opinions about a 12-year-old boy coming out as transgender and some wondered what influenced his decision.
Well, a social media activist, Tareeq Nasheed has now shared a video of the male nanny boating with a young Zion.
Twitter users reacted to the video by suggesting that Zion must have been touched inappropriately as a child by a man and this caused him to lean towards an alternative lifestyle.
Some have gone as far as blaming Wade for trusting his young sons to be alone in the care of a male nanny.
Some even reshared an old news article reporting on the arrest of Siohvaughn Funches for trying to abduct her sons so as to have them with her. They reacted by stating that Siohvaughn most likely had a mother’s intuition that her kids were being sexually abused and she wanted to get them back.
@Chayilyahudah captioned the mugshot of Siohvaughn taken after her arrest: ‘Zion was 5 years old when this took place. She tried to keep her sons from going back there. She was arrested for attempted child abduction. I say “Mother’s Intuition.” ‘
Below is the video of the male nanny with Zion Wade (now Zaya) and more reactions from Twitter users.
