Vehicle carrying election materials to Lagos crashes in Abuja (video)
A Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) vehicle that was being used to convey election materials to Lagos state was involved in an accident on Friday evening, February 24, at the Giri Roundabout bridge, Abuja.
The Officers were on their way to Lagos conveying election duty materials including NSCDC security.
An eyewitness said he isn’t sure if the accident was caused by a burst tyre. He said some of the officers who sat at the back of the car sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital in Gwagwalada..
A video shared online shows some Nigerians helping to pick the election materials littered on the road.
