Video director rescues man from suspected kidnappers who posed as SARS officers
A film director, Dayo Davies, has shared the story of how he helped to save a man from being kidnapped by suspected kidnappers who posed as SARS Officers. Dayo shared a video showing the faces of the suspected kidnappers/SARS impersonators and wrote
”I Dayo O. Davies being a young Video Director, yesterday for the first time in my life I saved a guy from KIDNAPPERS that claimed to be SARS/IMMIGRATION officers. Arriving at Lekki Phase one, I saw a young guy being dragged by two men which I confidently stopped, introduced myself as a Media Press and asked them what the young guy has done for him to deserve this kind of treatment because this guy was being slapped, kicked and dragged seriously wanting to force him into a commercial bus (DANFO).
The guy answered that he didn’t do anything, he explained that he was stopped by these men and they asked him for his ID card which he provided and the next thing was for them to start slapping him telling him that he is not a NIGERIAN.
Immediately, I challenged these men to let me see their own ID cards to be sure they are SARS/IMMIGRATION officers, but they could not! As i noticed they could not identify themselves, I started calling attentions and people gathered up immediately only for us to find out that these men are not who they claimed they were.
As they left, people that resides in that area made us understand that they are KIDNAPPERS. Like @lasiselenu said which i also believe in, that with #ONEVOICE, NIGERIA can be a better place and there will be a REVOLUTION. People that have power to speak please speak, if you pretend not to see people in trouble one day it will be your turn.
This is a new way of KIDNAPPING people o. Nigerians, please be careful of these faces o, they are KIDNAPPERS, anyone that stops you on the road and ask you to enter the BUS that they are SARS or Immigration officers, please confirm they are genuine Government workers, else CALL FOR HELP!!!”.
