Watch the moment Pusha T was attacked at his Toronto show (Videos)
Pusha-T’s performance at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall on Tuesday night ended prematurely when a physical altercation broke out. The rapper is blaming his rival Drake for the attack which happened in his hometown in Canada.
According to tweets from concertgoers, cops were called and the show ended abruptly after the fight broke out on stage.
Twitter user @LaNicaPoetess, wrote that a group of individuals threw water, beer and paint on stage in the middle of Pusha’s performance.
While others say there was a fight on stage, with Pusha’s security taking down three guys who stormed the stage to attack the rapper.
After leaving the stage brifely and returning back, Pusha T was said to have performed “Infrared” a track that features subliminal shots at Drake. At one point, he addressed the crowd and alleged that people were “paid” to throw beer at him.
A spokesperson for the Toronto Police Department confirmed to Pitchfork that they received a call for an assault in progress at the event with reports that performers at the venue were attacked onstage “by a number of people.” Three people were sent to the hospital in connection with the incident with non-life threatening injuries.
