Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attend Royal Ascot with the Queen

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, made her first appearance at the UK’s prestigious Royal Ascot today.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived the Royal Ascot in a horse-drawn carriage, part of the famous royal procession that begins each day of racing at the Berkshire course west of London. The prestigious event is the jewel in the crown of the British horse racing calendar.

Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Anne, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla were also present for the first day of the race meeting, which runs until June 23.

Harry and Meghan presented the winning trophy for the St James’s Palace Stakes to “Without Parole” jockey Frankie Dettori.
